Intestinal Parasites - Round worms
In this video Dr. Oz and his guest doctor suggest round worms as a problem on the rise in the US. They also link it as a potential cause of Irritable Bowl Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a host of other ailments. Warning to the squeamish: there are some pictures of human intestinal track afflicted with live worms. The doctors discuss the following:
Preventative measures:
1) Washing hands and fruits and vegetables
2) Avoid acid reducing medications
3) 2 cloves of raw garlic daily or one - 1000 mg garlic supplement tablet

To eliminate worms already in the body:
1) Worm Wood Tea made with filtered water. *
2) Recipe for Papaya seed with honey
1/4 cup papaya seeds
1 tablespoon honey
This mixture is to be eaten daily for ten days to two weeks.

*I would only consider using this herb with appropriate medical super vision. It can be toxic. I do not know how safe papaya seeds are to eat. Honey should not not be given to infants or very young children. -AC
"...people SHOULD NOT to use the tea for longer than three weeks as the wormwood has toxic constituents that are harmful if ingested in large quantities and for extended periods of time. Pregnant and nursing women SHOULD NOT drink wormwood tea."
