International Health Agencies Officers Caught by Surprise by recent MERS development?

For some parts, it seems that high rank international health agencies officers have caught by surprise by recent developments regarding the MERS situation in the Gulf States area.

It is at least unbelievable.

As these States are among the closest allies of the major Western Affluent World Countries (and from their political establishments, that are funding the same Intl Hlth Agencies), it is unlikely that embassies or consulates as well as foreign offices are being kept in the dark of recent explosion of number of hospital clusters of MERS infections in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Others.

It is simply hard to believe that a system where a single cow flatulence on Ukraine-Russia border is Always detected and promptly passed through MSMs, the same system is not able to detect a very dramatic evolution of a health situation already on the brink of a crisis.

This is not only a 'double standard' policy issue, but demonstrates a complete lack of committment, reliability and the full fault on regulations the Agencies promoted during the last decade, after the double crises SARS-H5N1 of 2003.

The world remains at mercy of a Group of interests that acts Always in the direction contrary to the public wellness, for the sake of geo-strategic Equilibrium status-quo and for the stability of very dilapidated faulty governments.

No surprise - thus - at the discovery of the out-of-control MERS situation in Gulf States area.

I do not believe in the showed surprise from some high rank health officers too.
