I believe that the Netherlands in fighting a diabetes epidemic raised the RDA of vitamin D. See this video;

Many of those countries have had no H1N1 deaths.

I am not sure if this is a preliminary working paper or the final result;

This may explain what is going on in the Netherlands in regards to low H1N1 deaths.
