Week 15 added another 10 pediatric deaths: One death was associated with an influenza A (H3) virus, one death was associated with 2009 H1N1 virus, one death was associated with an influenza A virus for which the subtype was not determined and seven deaths were associated with influenza B viruses.

Week 20: One death was associated with an influenza A (H3) virus and occurred during week 1 (week ending January 5, 2013), one death was associated with an influenza A virus for which the subtype was not determined and occurred during week 8 (week ending February 23, 2013), and one death was associated with an influenza virus for which the type was not determined and occurred during week 13 (week ending March 30, 2013). Four deaths were associated with influenza B viruses and occurred during weeks 9, 12, 14, and 16 (weeks ending March 2, March 23, April 6, and April 20, 2013).
