Influenza A is now at Navarre below the epidemic threshold
Five people remain in hospitals for this reason public Navarre
PAMPLONA, Dec 15 (EUROPA PRESS) --
The rate of influenza A in Navarre, for the first time below the epidemic threshold and shows a downward trend. This was announced today the Sentinel Physician Network of Health Department for the week of data from 6 to 12 December and after seven weeks of epidemic activity. In those seven days there were 66 cases per 100,000 population, when the epidemic threshold is at 70.
With regard to vaccines, the government said in a statement, 107,899 doses have been administered for the common flu since the beginning of the campaign and 31,217 doses against pandemic influenza.
Furthermore, a total of five people remain in public hospitals admitted Navarre confirmed diagnosis of influenza H1N1, three of them at the Hospital Virgen del Camino (a girl than a month in the pediatric ICU, the rest in ground) and two More on the Hospital Reina Sofia de Tudela, both on the ground.
