Pachuca, Hidalgo .- The Ministry of Health in Hidalgo is on constant alert to prevent an increase in cases of influenza A/H1N1, as in the Federal District.

The unit will strengthen preventive and surveillance measures to eradicate outbreaks, as well as increased cases of respiratory infections, resulting from sudden temperature changes and constant rain.

After last year closed the 2000 contingency 254 cases and 122 deaths in Hidalgo in 2010 so far only one case of human influenza in the month of May, without major consequences.

Dr. Israel Mendoza, director of Industrial Relations in Public Health said in June, July, August and September so far are in balance on this disease.

However, do not rule out the possibility that some cases arise from this pandemic.

"As one of the neighboring states and offshore busiest we risk attracting back the disease," he said.

RESPIRATORY DISEASES

The consequences of Hurricane Karl, in Hidalgo, Israel Mendoza stated that, so far, neither has seen an increase in the number of acute respiratory diseases.
