[h=1]Myanmar swine flu outbreak kills 38: media[/h] YANGON, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- A total of 38 people out of some 400 patients contracting seasonal influenza A/H1N1-2009, also known as swine flu, across Myanmar have died so far since the outbreak of the disease on July 21, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported Wednesday.
The fatalities were mostly from Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Bago regions, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.
At present, most of the patients have been discharged as their health conditions improved notably.
Meanwhile, seasonal influenza affection rate had also declined in public areas including schools, work places and other crowded places.
