The Network of Infectious Disease Modellers of Australia (NIDMA) will hold a one-day mathematical modelling workshop on Friday March 16 2007 in conjunction with the Communicable Diseases Control Conference. This one-day workshop will introduce key concepts of mathematical modelling of infectious diseases, with an emphasis on practical applications. Participants are not assumed to be experienced in either mathematics or modelling. A maximum of 50 participants can be accommodated.

This looks very interesting, doesn't it. Too bad it's on the other side of the planet, relatively speaking.

No, not going. It would be long trip for a one day workshop. But FluTrackers has forum members from all over the world and maybe someone in Australia would go and report back to us.
