Indonesian woman dies suspiciously in Saudi Arabia - H5N1, heart disease, or poisoning?

Hat-tip History Lover @FW. The statement about water with fire in it sounds like a poisoning. "Firewater" has been code for alcohol in many places, but Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country, so alcohol is prohibited.

Laylat Fatriya's Death a Mystery
February 1, 2010

Tuban: The death of Laylat Fitriyah (22), resident of Village Sendang, Sub Senori, Tuban, East Java, in Saudi Arabia on 11 November 2009 still remains a mystery to the family. The dead child and Muspiatun Suratin couple's family received from a friend of the victim who were both migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. According to the friend of the victim, the death of Laylat is full of irregularities. Finally, the family checked the truth of Laylat's death with PJTKI PT Laylat Jasmindo Olah Talent Jakarta from which Laylat was dispatched. That's when a new family believed that Laylat actually died in Saudi Arabia.
Based on the letter from PJTKI, Laylat death was caused by heart disease, lung disease, and bird flu. The family was not sure of the answer because there is no lifetime medical history of heart disease. Based on the autopsy report, written in Arabic and then translated, the new family knew that Laylat died from drinking fluids that contained api (fire, flame, spirit). This fluid causes the heart to stop functioning and ultimately Laylat died. An uncle of the victim, Rosdi, said that the family asked for the exact cause of death of the victim from PJTKI, but there has been no clear response. Relatives also inquired why her corpse terkatung-katungnya (was at sea?) for almost three months.
They hoped the related office will express the certain cause of the death of the casualty.

"It is possible she died last November 11 and it is just is sent now," said Rusdi.
