Metrotvnews.com, Makassar: A male child have the initials "Mt" that was one years old it was suspected was infected by bird flu.

Since last April 2, Mt underwent the intensive maintenance in the Hospital (RS) Doctor Wahidin Sudiro Husodo, Makassar.

Initially, Mt experienced the fever with the temperature of the body 38 levels celsius, the cough and breathless.

To confirm Mt infected by bird flu or not, the medical team of the Hospital Doctor Wahidin Sudiro Husodo took the sample of mucus and blood. The sample of this blood was sent to Jakarta.

MT had the story of contact with the poultry.

Last December, dozens of chickens around his house in the Bangkala District, the Manggala Subdistrict, Makassar, was found died suddenly.

Interesting use of the word epidemic as opposed to epizootic. Also interewsting is his treatment of 42 potential bird flu victims.
