Positive cases of avian influenza virus or bird flu until mid-March 2011 allegedly had occurred in four areas in West Java, namely Garut, Depok, Bekasi, and Indramayu.

The locations mentioned in the article are in West Java. Looking at the reports from Min of Health this year we saw confirmed cases in West Java: Depok and Bekasi and Karawang.

MOH did not confirm cases from Garut or Indramayu. ;)

It could be the reporter was mixing up H5N1 in birds and in humans.
