Pakistani Embassy staff member dies of H1N1

The Embassy of Pakistan confirmed Tuesday one of its staff members had died of the H1N1 flu virus.
?The health ministry official told our charge d?affaires it was swine flu,? Press and Cultural Attach? Saeed Javed said over the phone.
Tanwer Aktitar Anshari, 50, who worked as an accountant at the embassy, died at MMC hospital Monday morning after being treated as a H1N1 flu suspect. His body has been flown home for burial, Javed said.
?He had been in Indonesia for three years and his term here had ended; he was to leave within a couple of weeks,? Javed said.
He is the first foreigner to fall victim to the deadly virus in Indonesia.
