SERVICE NOT FIND ANIMAL FARM contracted H1N1

Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health (Disnakkeswan) Lampung have not found a pig farm in the province who contracted the virus H1N1.
Bandarlampung, 23 / 8 (Antara / FINROLL News) - Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health (Disnakkeswan) Lampung have not found a pig farm in the province who contracted the virus H1N1.
"We continue to monitor," said Chief Nurcahyo Saksono Disnakkeswan Lampung in Bandarlampung, Sunday.
He said the continued conduct an intensive supervision to scale pig farms and large household and do counseling and asked farmers to report if they find signs of animals unusual animals.
Coordination with the whole range of farm services in districts continue to be related to anticipation and treatment if found infected cattle, he said.
"We hope that in Lampung pigs stay safe from viruses that kind. Therefore, officials at all levels continue to conduct surveillance and outreach, especially maintaining the stable conditions and the environment clean and make use disenfektan sanitation," he said.
Regarding persistence of pigs which had been left hanging by the owner, Nurcahyo wish it was not done because of difficult control.
"We asked the owner to impound cattle pig livestock," said Nurcahyo.
Partoto, pig breeders in Seputihraman, Central Lampung, said that since the first pet and dikandangkan has several times visited by health officials for inspection.
"The officer said the animals healthy and continue to encourage and support to do the sanitation of the cage and monitor the health of livestock," he said.
He admitted since the H1N1 virus or better known as swine flu epidemic has caused livestock prices declined significantly pigs.
"Get down nearly fifty percent. Traders who come to us saying declining sales, especially now can not get into other areas without a letter from the relevant booking and a letter from healthy cattle homelands," he said.
