KLATEN (SI) - A Klaten resident was stated suspect suffering from the bird flu illness (avian influenza) by the Pusat Public Hospital (RSUP) Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten yesterday. The team of the doctor stated this after knowing the story of direct contact of the patient with bird flu positive poultry near his house.
This patient , AM , 13, was the resident of the Bometen Hamlet, Desa Ngandong, of Kecamatan Gantiwarno.
The student of a secondary school entered the hospital on Wednesday (26/5) around struck 13,00 WIB, after being reconciled from the Gantiwarni Community Health Centre. He was at once brought to isolation space because of the community health centre side informed the clinical sign that resembled the bird flu sufferer.
The Director was Umum RSUP Soeradji Tirtonegoro Dr. Bambang Purwoatmodjo said the patient was just stated as being expected by the bird flu sufferer. Gotten by the story of direct contact between the patient and the poultry who died suddenly because of bird flu.
We did not want to take the risk, so the patient was placed in isolation space, he said yesterday.
From results of the temporary inspection, the sign that was shown was not different from common flu. The temperature of the body, yesterday achieved 40 Celsius levels, in fact the temperature of maximal normal humankind 37 Celsius levels.
The hospital side has sent the example of blood to the Diponegoro University laboratory (Undip) and the Departemen Laboratory of the Health (the Department of Health).
Results will be known tomorrow. While being waiting for results of the laboratory, the patient was given by the maintenance with the infusion to maintain the condition for the body and kind medicine tamiflu. Beforehand, from Monday (24/5) of dozens of poultries in the Bometen Hamlet, Desa Ngandong died suddenly.
After in checked the official from the Pertanian Service and the Kesehatan Service, this poultry was stated positive bird flu. We have involved the team to supervise the activity of the village community. This to anticipate the spread of bird flu from the poultry to humankind.

KLATEN(SI) – Seorang warga Klaten dinyatakan suspect (terduga)
menderita penyakit flu burung (avian influenza) oleh Rumah Sakit Umum
Pusat (RSUP) Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten kemarin.
Tim dokter menyatakan hal ini setelah mengetahui riwayat kontak langsung pasien dengan unggas yang positif terpapar
flu burung di rumahnya. Pasien tersebut,AM,13, merupakan warga Dukuh Bometen, Desa Ngandong, Kecamatan
Gantiwarno. Siswa sebuah sekolah menengah ini masuk ke rumah sakit pada Rabu (26/5) sekitar pukul 13.00 WIB,
setelah dirujuk dari Puskesmas Gantiwarni. Dia langsung dibawa ke ruang isolasi karena pihak puskesmas
menginformasikan gejala klinis yang mirip dengan penderita flu burung. Direktur Umum RSUP Soeradji Tirtonegoro
dr.Bambang Purwoatmodjo mengatakan pasien baru dinyatakan sebagai terduga penderita flu burung.Terdapat riwayat
kontak langsung antara pasien dan unggas yang mati mendadak karena flu burung.
“Kami tidak mau mengambil risiko, jadi pasien ditempatkan dalam ruang isolasi,” ujarnya kemarin. Dari hasil pemeriksaan
sementara, gejala yang ditunjukkan tidak berbeda dengan flu biasa. Suhu badan,kemarin mencapai 40 derajat Celsius,
padahal suhu manusia normal maksimal 37 derajat Celsius. Pihak rumah sakit sudah mengirim contoh darah ke
laboratorium Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) dan Laboratorium Departemen Kesehatan (Depkes).Hasilnya akan
diketahui besok. Sambil menunggu hasil laboratorium, pasien diberi perawatan dengan infus untuk menjaga kondisi
tubuh dan obat jenis tamiflu.Sebelumnya, mulai Senin (24/5) puluhan unggas di Dukuh Bometen, Desa Ngandong mati
mendadak.
Setelah di periksa petugas dari Dinas Pertanian dan Dinas Kesehatan, unggas tersebut dinyatakan positif flu burung.
“Kami sudah menerjunkan tim untuk mengawasi aktivitas masyarakat desa. Hal ini untuk mengantisipasi penularan flu
burung dari unggas ke manusia. Jadi, saya berharap warga tidak kontak langsung dengan unggas peliharaan mereka,”
ujar Kepala Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Klaten Rony Roekminto. Kepala Desa Ngandong Joko Daryono saat dihubungi
membenarkan di desanya terdapat unggas yang mati mendadak. Jumlahnya puluhan dan tersebar di tiga rukun tangga .
