#482:
"“They didn’t escape, but insisted to return home without hospital recommendation. It was lunch hour for the officers and paramedics. Maybe they used that moment to return home”, said Cissy RS Prawira Kartasasmita, director of RSHS. Cissy also mentioned that the patients had been tested negative by hospital laboratory. “But hospital with help from local health service will observe their condition”, state Cissy.

Usually patient, who insisted to return home before the end of recommended term, will report to the officer-on-duty, but they didn’t. Guard also didn’t know that patients had left the room. Flamboyan room is guarded by an officer but the entrance is not locked.
This incidence is the first time happened in RSHS. “We will enhance the security; in particular doors and windows also add number of officers”, said Cissy."

Not strenghtened biosec. policy is equal as non biosecurity in a hotspot zone, and that all is well known:

- it is important to stick onto strict protocols even if it is possible that the patients are/would be cleared.

- it must not be allowed that nobody of the staff members be at the ward when it is lunch time.

- isolation must be equal as an closure space, so the main thing is locking the doors/windows, even if this seems loosing freedom during the isolation assesments, and than the guards would be less neccessary (only on feed/treating times)

- if the above is not accomplished and the patients walks freely, all the hospital would became quarantined in an infectious event.

?I felt fine. Why I should be treated longer?? said AG. He admitted has escaped by climbing toilet window of flamboyant room RSHS which was guarded tight. He ran away during break hour with his son FS, (14 monrhs) and wife, Rika (19).

These partly translated sentences mean to say this (IMHO):

The hospital only had oral information on testresults, they say iit would have been better not to communicate oral information , but wait until written information.

No evidence for a cover up, or something like that.

One could say however, the way the hospital handled their information could be improved next time to prevent confusion.

The patients seems to do very well, we can be happy with that.

This remember me on elsewhere's some hospital specialists usual behaviour to rely on oral only results from the lab if they not became positive in the most part of the labtest time schedule, and than they use them as an enaugh reason to dump the patient out of the hospital without wait it for an written lab confirmation, which many times need of few days more to be surely scientificaly confirmed.

The above (somewhere) practice is usualy tolerated because of hospital wards overpopulation and to cutting down the hospital part of patient care expensies ...

Such an not enaugh professional (and not strictly legal) behaviour is bad because it make an infection relapsing risk for the patient and further coinfections possibilities outside of the hospital.
