Four Parongpong Chickens Bird Flu Positive

PARONGPONG, TRIBUN-A total of four chickens recently died suddenly in the village of At Asih, Parongpong District, West Bandung regency (KBB) positively infected by avian influenza.
Head of Animal KBB, Aditoyo, said that as soon as the signs that the four chickens that died of bird flu is indicated, it immediately checks on dozens of chickens in the village.
"Because the other chickens bird flu proved negative, then even four positive chickens, we do not do the chicken in the village depopulation tesebut," he said, some time ago.
According Aditoyo, the death of chickens due to bird flu this is the first case in 2010.
"Today, people are more vigilant and proactive," he said.

PARONGPONG, TRIBUN-Sebanyak empat ekor ayam yang belum lama ini mati mendadak di Desa Pada Asih, Kecamatan Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB)positif terjangkit flu burung.
Kadis Peternakan KBB, Aditoyo, mengatakan bahwa segera setelah tanda-tanda bahwa keempat ekor ayam itu mati karena flu burung terindikasi, pihaknya langsung melakukan pemeriksaan pada puluhan ekor ayam di desa tersebut.
"Karena ayam-ayam lainnya terbukti negatif flu burung, maka sekalipun empat ayam yang positif, kita tak melakukan depopulasi ayam di desa tesebut," ujarnya, beberapa saat lalu.
Menurut Aditoyo, kematian ayam karena flu burung ini adalah kasus yang pertama di tahun 2010.
"Saat ini, masyarakat sudah lebih waspada dan proaktif," katanya.
