Dr. Ketut said that A.S. died after complaining of shortness of breath and coughing on Friday (2/5) last. After being treated in hospital Surya Husada Denpasar for a few days, A.S. was transferred to the hospital Sanglah, Tuesday (6/5) because the condition is not improved.
At Sanglah, A.S. treated in isolation as the disease symptoms are similar to symptoms of shortness of breath and MERS is coughing. Barely a day isolated, 50-year-old patient was breathing his last early this morning at 00.30 pm.
Dr. Ketut said it has taken a sample of the patient's throat before the victim died. The sample is sent to a laboratory Biomol Udayana University and Research Ministry of Health.
"Before he died the sample has been taken and we send to Lab Biomol Udayana (Udayana University) and the Ministry of Health Research. Hopefully the results come out later this afternoon," said Dr. Ketut again.
