Suspected Bird Flu Referred to Sanglah Hospital

Bangli (Between Bali) - A patient suspected of having bird flu disease was referred to the General Hospital Center (Dr) Sanglah, Denpasar.

Denpasar ? The isolation unit of Sanglah hospital in Denpasar is treating a bird flu suspect patient. Patient is a 4-year-old boy with initial WS, from Sekardari village, Bangli, Bali.

WS developed breathing difficulty and flu signs. Also, several chickens were found suddenly dead around patient?s house.

WS rushed to hospital as precaution because 2 Bangli residents have died of brid flu H5N1 recently.

Initial examination by PCR showed patient is negative bird flu H5N1. Hospital is now waiting for confirmation result from Udayana University in Bali and Ministry of Health laboratory in Jakarta.

With indonesia it seems really simple re Bird Flu infection.

You die you have Bird Flu. You live you don't.

Remember they pump you with Tamiflu which can cause a negative result even though you have it.

So there is my litmus test.
