"RSUD Dr Slamet treated two patients suspect bird flu, namely Gilang, 9, the citizen Cikelet and Hendra." An other patient, Yana, has come home because his condition improved, explained public relations of RSUD Dr Slamet, the Yogi Prayogi.
Monitored kondisi
Tim Department of Health was also monitoring tightly the condition for the health of four citizens Cikelet, namely Rangga, 6 months, Aris, 10, Pipit, 6 and Burhan, 35. The four citizens were ascertained as suspect bird flu, because experienced hot and sick.
"We were observing them in the field and continued to carry out the tight monitoring by giving medical treatment." If his condition worsened, the four of them were immediately reconciled to RSUD Dr Slamet, Garut or RSHS Bandung, stated Fatimah.
In the meantime, results of the blood inspection of five casualties suspect bird flu that was treated in RSUD Dr Slamet and RSHS Bandung, has gone out and results of the negative. They were Yana and Gilang that beforehand were treated in RSUD Dr Slamet, as well as Osin, Kuraesin and Tosin, that were treated in RSHS Bandung.

There are probably two sets of negatives. One set is H5N1 positive, but registring negative because of low level of H5N1 because viral load was lower initially, or reduced by Tamiflu. The second set would be seasonal flu cases that were hospitalized because of increased awareness due to early deaths couple with positive H5N1.

Yudi said, his side had expected the entry of the bird flu virus to the Cikelet region, since having the citizen who will carry out the agenda maulid brought the poultry from outside, as happening at the end of June or for the length of last July. According to him, that was based on the report on the Sub-district Head Cikelet Drs. Jujun. "However we did not know from where initially the virus," he said.
Apart from doing mass medical treatment, also was done again by the extermination of the poultry in the Cimangke hamlet, Cigadog. According to the Sub-district Head Cikelet Jujun, the poultry that was destroyed totalling 200 tails.

Two suspect bird flu that was treated in Poinciana Tree Space of RSHS Bandung, Ismawati (5) and Santi (8), was permitted to come home because his condition has been stable. “Hasil him has was found out that this not Avian influenza,” said Dr. Hadi Jusuf, on Wednesday (23/8).
The further maintenance was on the two patients handed over to the Cikelet Community Health Centre. But, parents of the two children, namely Kuraesin and Osin, that also were treated in Poinciana Tree Space, might not yet come home.
The possibility of Ismawati returning and Santi were waiting for results of the inspection of his two parents. Although from the inspection pointed out results of the negative, Kuraesin still in the process of the supervision.
[Are they saying that Ismawati & Santi are siblings and their parents are Kuraesin & Osin? Elsewhere, I have Ismawati & Santi as cousins. I have in my notes that Ismwati's parents are father Pendi, mother Omay -- Santi's parents as Iwan & Surilah.
Or are they saying that 2 other children of Kuraesin & Osin are bf suspects? ??]
Therefore, from September 2005 to at this time, RSHS received 51 suspect bird flu. Consisted of 25 women and 26 men. From 51 patients, who were stated positive AI totalling seven people. Lima among them died, and two other was stated healthy and was permitted to come home.

I have Ismawati as cousin of Ai Siti Aminah and Santi and Ismawati as neighbors of Ai Siti Aminah.
