Bird Flu Chickens Destroyed

Liputan6.com, Ambon: Tens of kampung chickens seized from South Sulawesi quarantine officer at the International Airport and the Port Yos Sudarso Pattimura Ambon. The whole chicken was positively infected by H5N1 bird flu.
To prevent the bird flu virus outbreak in the province of Maluku, Central Agricultural Quarantine Class I Ambon destroy it by burning the chickens. Before the fire, the whole chicken is cut first.
The destruction was carried out in the yard Quarantine Class I office located in the village of Passo, Baguala District, Ambon and involve a number of officers.
