I can't get a connection with toggletext at the moment -- don't know if it's them or me -- but there appears to be another bf suspect from Simalungun -- this time with the initial "R" (btw -- I'm not sure that 'boru Saragih' is a part of the name or not). Kepala Dinas Kesehatan dan Sosial Simalungun, Dr Waldi Saragih mengatakan, hingga, Senin (28/8) Kabupaten Simalungun tetap Siaga I suspect flu burung.

Hal itu dikemukakan Dr Waldi Saragih kepada wartawan, seusai menghadiri rapat paripurna DPRD Simalungun di Pematang Siantar.

Menurut Dr Waldi Saragih, sejak merebaknya kasus flu burung di Simalungun khususnya di Kecamatan Silimakuta [the village, I think], jauh hari sudah mengantisipasi penularan terhadap manusia.

Ternyata setelah terserangnya unggas di Kecamatan Silimakuta ada pasien berinitial R boru Saragih mengalami demam tinggi dirawat di Puskesmas Seribudolok.

Oleh dokter setempat melaporkannya kepada Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Simalungun dan segera melarikannya ke RSU Adam Malik Medan, karena curiga pasien tersebut suspect flu burung.

Untuk itu dianjurkan bagi Puskesmas terdekat baik dengan Kabupaten Karo maupun berdekatan dengan Kecamatan Silimakuta dengan menetapkan Siaga I.

Artinya Puskesmas yang berdekatan dengan Kecamatan Silimakuta yakni, Puskesmas, Saran Padang Kecamatan Dolok Silau, Puskesmas Pembantu Haranggaol Kecamatan Haranggaol Horison, Puskesmas Tiga Runggu Kecamatan Purba dianjurkan tetap siaga dalam waktu 24 jam.
