2 Months, 527 Dengue Fever Cases Happened in S. Jakarta

The case of dengue fever is apparently still haunting Jakarta residents, especially in South Jakarta. Over the past two months or since January 27-February 2014, there are found 527 cases in South Jakarta. From that number, the highest case of the dengue fever is dominated by Pasar Minggu Sub-District with 105 cases.

"The second highest case is followed by Jagakarsa with 84 cases, Cilandak with 57 cases, and Kebayoran Lama with 45 cases," said South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Djoko Tri, on the sidelines of campaign against dengue fever (PSN) in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Friday (/287)...

Living in elite residence in the capital city does not guarantee the area would be free from the spread of aedes aegypty mosquito that causes dengue fever (DBD). Evidently, 11 residents who live in elite residence of Permata Buana Complex, RW 09, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-District, West Jakarta, are now infected with DBD...
