This distribution has pH1N1 written all over it.

Note that 83 of 85 positive isolates for pH1N1 have been detected since January 1, 2011. Also, note that pH1N1 has been dominant overall for Weeks 1-5 (at 40.3% of positive samples ytd). However, it appears that during Week 5 Influenza B started to become the dominant strain (49% of positive samples for Week 5).

In Missouri, 2009 A/H1N1 had been the dominate strain in PCR testing for a couple of months. Now, in week 5, Influenza B became dominant (at least in the samples tested by PCR).

UPDATE: MO now reporting 2009 A/H1N1 most prominent in week 6
