Aurangabad / Ramgarh (Sitapur). In the Gondlamau region, the havoc of deadly fever and malaria is not taking its name. Three people, including a teenager, died of fever from Monday to Tuesday.
The death toll has risen to eight. Five patients have been admitted to the CHC on critical condition. The number of affected villages has increased to 25. About 790 people in these villages are vulnerable to the disease.
Some villages in the Misrikh block are also affected. Infectious diseases have been spread in many villages of the block Gondlamau region for the past one month.
Sunder Devi (55), Mohit (15) resident Ahmedpur and Radha (65) resident Saidapur died at an interval of last two days.
Health teams are continuously camping in the affected villages and distributing tests and medicines. Even after this, the disease is not controlled.
Joint Director Malaria Dr. Awadhesh Yadav and Filaria Controller Dr. Subhash Kumar, who arrived here from Lucknow on Monday, visited Ramgarh and Saidapur villages. Sampled the water of two hand pumps in Ramgarh.
CMO and DPRO also tested the situation.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. RK Nair visited the affected villages and appealed to the people for cleanliness. He has instructed the CHC Superintendent to keep the health team in the villages continuously.
Directing BDO Gondlamau, DPRO said, "Make arrangements for drinking water in fever affected villages."
There are frequent complaints of yellow water in the taps. They have asked people not to drink yellow water.

His mother Janak Dulari was suffering. Crying, his brother Rinku told that he used to do momos sale near the underpass. After crying, the family returned to the village with the dead body.
Now fever spread in Kudhwa village, large number of people sick

Now fever has spread in Kudhwa village of Maitha tehsil area. A large number of people are in the grip of fever here. Along with fogging in the village, DDT was also sprayed. District Infectious Disease In-charge Dr AP Verma said that the patient who has been found to have falciparum in Kudhwa village works in Baroda, from where he came to the village after suffering fever. He informed that blood plaques of fever victims are being prepared and tested in the village. Treatment of patients has also been done. Maitha's Rapid Response Team has been directed to treat patients by camping in the village itself.
Doctors advice, this is how to prevent mosquito-borne disease
- Must change the water of coolers once a week.
Sprinkle insecticides in the house, do not let water accumulate.
- Wear children with clothes that cover hands and feet.
Use mosquito nets and mosquito repellent at bedtime.
- Add burnt oil or kerosene to the drains.
- Do not allow waterlogging around the houses.

This time also a ward has been secured there. Despite this, two patients are being admitted on one bed. Due to the high number of patients in the emergency of the district hospital, two-two patients were found lying on most beds. The same, despite the OPD being till 12 noon due to the holiday on Monday, the number of patients was considerable. The same is the condition of the child ward of the district hospital.
There is a capacity to recruit 27 patients, but around 40 patients have been admitted there.
For this reason, treatment is being done by recruiting two patients on one bed.
Divyang young man dies due to fever
Divyang Suresh Sahu (35) of village Jainpur, Kadrabad, police station, Bisharatganj, died of fever. He was suffering from fever for four days. He was featured on CHC Mazhgawan. He was later referred to the district hospital. Where he died late Monday evening during treatment. The whole family was responsible for Suresh. The family is shocked by his death.

Malaria (Plasmodium vivax) was confirmed in only 17 of them. A cleanliness drive was conducted in the village. Pesticide spraying was also done. Dr. Basit said that no epidemic has spread in the village. The ADO Panchayat has been asked to carry out the cleanliness drive.
Patients coming from other district became headaches
The district hospital has a lot of patients here, patients coming from the surrounding districts are increasing the problem. Staff are referring patients from nearby districts without seeing a doctor. Such patients are also being referred, who can be easily treated there. Troubled doctors have complained to AD Health. In the last one week, there have been many such patients from the surrounding districts who could have been treated there. Mohammad Faiz from Pilibhit was referred to the district hospital there in just ten minutes.
Shishupala from Badaun Medical College was sent here for a minor illness. Despite being a medical college there, Puran Chandra was referred here. Elder Ramdevi was sent directly here. District Hospital Physician Dr. Vagish Vaishya says that most patients are coming here from Badaun as a referral. Such patients who can recover only are also being sent here. This is increasing the number of patients here. The case will be reported to AD Health.
