To ensure proper sanitation, consumers’ health, and cleanliness, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday released a new set of guidelines for all the roadside food outlets in Temple City.

“All the food outlets under BMC are requested to follow the new guidelines to ensure safety, cleanliness, and health concerns of the consumers,” the BMC said.

The bird flu outbreak was confirmed on Sunday, following tests by the High Security Laboratory in Bhopal, which detected H5N1 in 10 dead chickens from Andara and Balia gram panchayats in Derabishi block, Dr Patnaik added.​
