UP News In Hindi: Mosquito infestation has increased in Rampur. Three species Aedes, Anopheles and Culex have been identified in the district, which are spreading dangerous diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya and filariasis.​

Mosquito Risk in UP: The terror of mosquitoes is continuously increasing in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. The survey of the malaria department has revealed that three major species of mosquitoes are active in the district. Their number is increasing rapidly both inside and outside the houses. These mosquitoes are spoiling the health of people by spreading dangerous diseases.

Aedes Mosquito: Carrier of Dengue and Chikungunya

According to malaria officer Sanjay Singh Chauhan, Aedes mosquitoes thrive in clean water. They breed rapidly in water filled in old tires, coolers, boxes and open utensils. Two species of Aedes aegypti and albopictus have been identified. Their bites cause dangerous diseases like dengue, chikungunya, Zika virus and encephalitis.​
