Bengaluru: Twenty one cases of monkey fever were reported in in Karnataka’s Uttara Kannada district, health officials announced. Among the affected persons, eight have been admitted to hospitals, while the remaining 13 are undergoing treatment at home.

Authorities are actively promoting awareness to educate people about preventive measures to curb the disease’s spread....

​Chikkamagaluru: The outbreak of monkey disease in coffee land is escalating, with another woman contracting the disease on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases in the district to 9.

Among the 9 affected individuals, an elderly person recently succumbed to the illness, while four others have successfully recovered. Currently, four patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.​..
