outbreak. State and District NVBDCP official
were informed. House to house survey done.
Blood sample collected was positive for JE (IgM
ELISA). All cases treated. Health education given

RRT investigated the outbreak. Cases presented with fever
and altered sensorium. A total of 83 serum samples collected
and sent to MGM Medical College Jamshedpur; 09 were
found positive for Japanese Encephalitis by IgM ELISA. All
cases treated. Health education given.

investigated the outbreak. Cases presented with fever and
altered sensorium. A total of 08 serum samples were collected
and tested at MGM Medical College Jamshedpur; 03 were
found positive for Japanese Encephalitis by IgM ELISA. All
cases treated. Health education given.

Cases reported from Village Milathnagar, PHC/CHC
Rahamatnagar, Taluk Kolar. District RRT investigated the
outbreak. House to house survey conducted. Poor
environmental hygiene and poor personal hygiene observed in
the village. No pig persent in and around the village. No
paddy/wet field cultivation present in and around the village.
A total of 03 blood and 03 water samples collected. The 03
blood samples were found positive for Japanese Encephalitis.
All cases treated. Source reduction activities undertaken.
Health education given on prevention and control of vector
borne diseases
