A 51-year-old man died of the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), commonly called the Congo fever, in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, marking the first reported fatality from the infection in the past five years, doctors said on Tuesday.

The man, identified as Mohanbhai, was a cattle breeder. He was admitted to a hospital on January 21 and died during treatment on January 27.​..
