It's that time of the year again. And the Delhi government is bracing up to fight mosquitoes and the diseases such as dengue, malaria, chikungunya, etc. that the tiny insects spread by their deadly bite.
Though dengue cases have not reported a significant rise than last year but
malaria has already announced its arrival with a three-fold rise in cases than the corresponding period last year. "As many as 61 cases of malaria have been reported so far, against 18 cases last year for the same period. The rise may be attributed to more diagnostic laboratories for malaria, but that doesn't mean we will be any less careful," said a health official from the unified municipal corporation of Delhi (MCD)...
