?Keeping chicken healthy is crucial to building a healthy and wealthy Sierra Leone,? so said the Acting Director of Livestock Division of the Human and Avian Influenza Taskforce, Sorie Mohamed Kamara opined at the launching of the Chicken Vaccination Campaign at their Kissy Road Vaccination Centre on Saturday 3rd July 2010.
Mr. Kamara recalled the usual massive killings of fowls which are main source of protein by the new castle disease, and said that, through this, the nation is losing enormous animal protein which would have kept the people of the nation healthy and fit to do massive work to accelerate the achievement of sustainable food security.
