CARMEL, Ind. (Jan. 9, 2015)? A confirmed case of chickenpox has been reported at two Carmel Clay Schools.

In a letter sent to parents Friday, school officials said a case of varicella was confirmed at Carmel High School and Clay Middle School...

Chickenpox cases have been reported at schools in the Carmel-Clay district.

Parents with children at Carmel High School, Clay Middle School and Woodbrook Elementary School received a letter from the district Thursday:

There are confirmed cases of varicella (chickenpox) at your child's school. Students who have received varicella vaccine can still get chickenpox. When previously vaccinated students become ill with varicella it is called ?breakthrough? chickenpox...
