The official recalled that the main risk groups are children from six to 35 months of age and pregnant and is keeping open the possibility that any citizen be immunized against the disease.
"This will extend the human influenza vaccination in companies that request and continue the implementation of family medicine units and brigades that are going to schools and kindergartens.
It intensifies this week in malls and implementation of vaccination posts, "he said.
He noted that this year, the goal is to apply doses of 404 thousand which is proceeding according to schedule, and explained that like the seasonal flu vaccine, the vaccine against influenza A (H1N1 ) does not generate reaction.
He explained that it is important to continue preventive measures such as frequent hand washing, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, since it is the most common transmission mechanism.
Furthermore, when coughing or sneezing should be covered with a tissue or the inner angle of the elbow.
"Another important aspect is to abide by hospital rules and units of family medicine, and if necessary seek care, it accompanied only by an adult and set schedules," he said.
Davila Flores urged people to act with utmost responsibility and avoid going to school or crowded places with the disease and not taking the children to kindergartens.
