PULASKI COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Southern 7 Health Department confirms one positive test for West Nile Virus in a dead bird and one new case of WNV in mosquitoes for the southern seven-county region of Illinois.

According to a release, on July 9, S7HD Health Services staff collected the dead bird in Pulaski County and submitted it for testing to the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab at the University of Illinois. They received and documented results by the health department on July 18....
