Officials: Westmont woman's death caused by West Nile Virus

1:13 p.m. CDT, September 27, 2011

The death of a woman in her 70s from Westmont was due to West Nile Virus, the DuPage County Health Department said today in a news release.

In addition to the DuPage County case, the Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting 10 human cases of West Nile virus in Illinois so far this year, including a Cook County man in his 60s who died earlier this month, according to the release...
