HOUSTON - Swine flu has claimed the life of another Houston area resident, bringing the death toll to 30.

A Harris County woman between the ages of 50 and 64 died from the H1N1 strain on Nov. 17.

Now, the county has reported 14 deaths.

But 16 others deaths have been reported from Houston and Fort Bend, Galveson, Brazoria and Montgomery counties.

Nationwide, there have been more than 1,000 H1N1 deaths.
