Hospital emergencies increased by 2.5% last week

The emergency attending the public Catalan hospitals rose 2.5% last week - from 4 to 10 February - which, in absolute terms amounted to a total of 59,489 hospitality, while the number of emergency also entered rose 2.1%, with a total of 6463 cases.

According to the Regional Ministry of Health, increased health care activity data does not record out of the ordinary at this time, as shows that a year ago charitable activity was 3% higher in the emergency room and treated by 0.3% in income.

In children's hospitals, the attending emergency activity and revenues also rose by 3.6% and 10.5% respectively. Overall, attending emergencies in these facilities reached the 3381, while revenue was 304. Over the previous year there is also a decrease of 14.3% and 21.2% respectively.
