The weekly number of influenza detections in the Public Health Laboratory Centre was slightly increasing from 19 (week 27) to 35 (weeks 28 and 29). However, the average consultation rates for influenza-like illness (ILI) per week among sentinel general outpatient clinics and sentinel private doctors both remained low at baseline levels. The weekly number of outbreaks of influenza-like-illness also remained at baseline level.
