Hong Kong reports two H3 flu deaths

Hong Kong has reported two deaths from H3 flu. Both victims are male.
One was 73 years old. He started to show symptoms in mid August and was hospitalized. Doctors gave him Tamiflu and other antibiotics. The patient tested negative for A/H1-N1 but positive for the Influenza A virus. He refused treatment in hospital and asked to be discharged.
Doctors say he was in a stable condition when he left. The hospital was told the patient died on August 23rd. Medical tests show he was positive for H3 flu.
According latest flu figures in the Special Administrative Region, A/H1-N1 is responsible for 49% of cases and H3 for 43%.
The Hong Kong Hospital Authority says that by September 6th, five people have died of A/H1N1 flu, six of H3 flu.
