The spokesperson of Shatin Hospital made the following announcement today (December 1):

Seven male patients (aged 34 to 61) of a psychiatric rehabilitation ward had presented with respiratory symptoms since November 28.

Their viral tests were positive to Influenza A.

The patients are being treated under isolation. Four of them have been transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital for further treatment.

One of the patients is in serious condition, while the others are stable.
