SFH on seasonal influenza
Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a public function this afternoon (January 13):
Secretary for Food and Health:
We are very concerned about recent reports on the increase of cases of seasonal influenza in the United States, as well as the increase of mortality rate. I would like to appeal to Hong Kong citizens to adhere to good personal hygiene. If they have not received the influenza vaccination, please consider doing so, particularly for children, the elderly, as well as those with chronic diseases. Thank you.
