Health officials this week confirmed two new cases in the country of H1N1 influenza, with the number rose to 14 so far this year.
To date there is no died of respiratory infection, health officials say. Thomas Guevara, Chief of Epidemiology, confirmed that there are 14 cases confirmed to date. The first two were recorded in EW No. 28 in the north of the country. Low temperatures and rain in recent weeks have increased the risks of transmission of respiratory illness in Honduran territory.
