Mass poisoning of schoolchildren leaves two dead

TEGUCIGALPA. "Two children died in the last hours, after last Wednesday were part of a group of children who were possibly poisoned by eating spoiled food in the town of Pespire in Choluteca.

According to his family, the two were first cousins and were in the public kindergarten in the town of Jicaral in this county, where last Wednesday a group of mothers, prepared school meals.
They explained that women developed for children "catrachas" (fried tortillas with beans and cheese) and ate at 10:30 am, but at 1:00 pm, 12 children presented a picture of intoxication .
Small were vomiting and had stomach pain, seven of them being carried by their parents to the hospital in Choluteca, where the two cousins were referred to the Maternal and Child Hospital, presented by gravity.
Unfortunately for her parents, she died last Thursday at 11:30 pm at the hospital, while his cousin died 24 hours later, despite the efforts of doctors to save them.
