About 30 students of a government middle school in Mothsara village in the district were admitted to a hospital with symptoms of food poisoning, police said Sunday. The students were taken ill after eating peanuts "thrown by someone in the school premises" on Saturday, the police said. The students, most of them from classes fourth and fifth, were admitted to a local hospital but were later referred to the civil hospital in Hisar town, police said, adding, the condition of four students was stated to be critical. The sample of the peanuts, which are suspected to be poisonous, has been sent for analysis and further investigation is on, police said.
