  • During the surveillance activities, the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department (LBVD) received dead chicken samples and information on an abnormal mortality in backyard chickens in Mingalardon township on 19 February 2010.
  • Farmers raised backyard chicken and backyard ducks in the household.
