Higher prices for fish in Alexandria because of bird flu ..
Increased prices for meat and fish markets in Alexandria significantly after an increase in demand over the past few days, due to the spread of bird flu, which caused a decline in demand for the purchase of poultry.
A number of fish traders that prices rose at rates of up to twice what it was in the recent period, as a result of the scare of eating meat, poultry, and public demand for fish.

وأشار السيد إبراهيم، بائع، إلى أن سعر سمك البورى ارتفع ليتراوح ما بين ٣٠ و٣٥ جنيهاً للكيلو، والبلطى من ١٥ إلى ٢٠ جنيهاً، كما ارتفعت أسعار الأسماك المجمدة فى ظل نقص المعروض من الأسماك الطازجة فى الأسواق.

وطالب بتغيير شكل الختم الحالى وإصدار قرار وزارى بالعقوبة لغير الملتزمين، كما طالب بإلزام كل جزار ببيع نوع واحد من اللحوم سواء كانت بلدية أو مستوردة، وفى حالة الجمع بين النوعين فى المحل توضع لافتة على اللحوم تبين نوعها.
