Warnings of a "tsunami" along western Indonesia
ذكرت شبكة "سي. ان .ان" الامريكية ان الفيضانات التي ضربت المناطق الجنوبية تسببت في انهيار اجزاء من الطرقات السريعة مع تأثيرها علي نحو مليون ونصف المليون شخص في هذه المناطق.
The network, "CNN.." The U.S. said the floods that hit southern regions have caused the collapse of parts of the highways with their impact on the almost one million people in these areas.
حذرت السلطات الاندونيسية سكان المناطق الساحلية بغرب اندونيسيا خاصة جزيرة سومطرة من احتمال حدوث مد بحري نتيجة الرياح العاتية خلال الايام الثلاثة القادمة.
Indonesian authorities warned residents of coastal areas in western Indonesia's Sumatra island, especially the possibility of a tsunami due to strong winds in the next three days.
قال مدير مركز مكافحة الكوارث بوزارة الصحة الاندونيسية روستام باكايا في تصريحات صحفية له ان السلطات المعنية حثت سكان المناطق الساحلية الغربية علي توخي اقصي درجات الحذر نتيجة احتمال ارتفاع الامواج الي 4 أمتار".
Said Director of the Center for Anti-Disaster Indonesian Health Ministry Rustam Pakaya told press that the authorities urged residents of western and coastal areas to take maximum caution of a possible high waves to 4 meters.
