The health secretary, Jorge Fuentes Islands, denied that the state has at present a risk of an outbreak of H1N1 influenza, as in the north.
But he said they will intensify security measures to avoid the entry of any infection.
To date, the only state with 10 cases of influence stationary and not one of H1N1, but the official called for people to exercise extreme measures of hand washing and home ventilation.
"These measures are universal, very simple but highly effective," he stressed.
In the case of Chihuahua, where an outbreak of influenza, considered that the authorities are working properly to control the problem, so there are no elements that can be extended.
An outbreak is focused, but the work of control is appropriate to delimit said.
