Help with hospitalization data

Now that the CDC is not posting their director's brief PowerPoint presentations on the internet anymore, does anyone know where to find the total hospitalizations for the U.S. from their last update? I haven't had any luck on CDC's website.

I'd really appreciate the help. The last number I have is 3,065 from 6/25.

Your number is more accurate than mine. As less info has become available, I made a sticky at gs's forum to keep track of any hospitalizations I've seen.

Here is the link if it will help you; feel free to copy any/all. The last entries are from the Trancy site so I didn't post links.

I think the hospitalization, death rates and the ILI numbers are going to be our best chance at tracking what's happening with this flu.

There is another report from 6/30 but the number is the same at 3065

Thanks Pflu. My state-by-state count is nearly 3,000 even though I have no data or partial data for about a third of the states and some of the numbers I got by calling the states is over a week old. I have to believe that by the 7th it'll be well over 4,000, maybe approaching 5,000.

I think you are right, it's got to be 4,000 at a minimum.

CDC only get's hospitalization data for 60% of their confirmed cases. Estimated hospitalizations should be around 4,200 based on the last CDC 3,065 figure. Your state tallies prove the CDC admitted under count.

I think you are right, it's got to be 4,000 at a minimum.

If the number is around 4,500, then the slope of the line doesn't break downward, meaning that we aren't at the peak yet.
