NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
...
This newest case involves a Rutherford County resident who contracted the virus while traveling out of the country.

It?s unclear if the person is a man or a woman, but it is not someone who is pregnant.

The two other confirmed Zika cases have also been people who traveled out of the country to areas where Zika-infected mosquitoes are common. Health officials said Thursday that those two people are doing OK.

The Tennessee Department of Health advised any woman who is pregnant not to travel to any country known to have Zika-infected mosquitoes.

State health officials also issued precautions men should take if they travel to one of those countries to avoid infecting their partner.
